These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the 1st Home Construction Corp website and services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Our Services
1st Home Construction Corp is a licensed California general contractor (CA License B #1070508) providing residential and commercial construction services including remodeling, additions, ADU construction, and maintenance throughout Los Angeles County.
Estimates & Contracts
All estimates provided are non-binding and subject to change based on actual site conditions, material costs, and project scope changes. A separate written construction contract will govern any construction project. Construction work will not commence until a written contract is signed by both parties and applicable permits are obtained.
Licensing & Compliance
We maintain all required licenses and insurance as mandated by the State of California, including: California Contractor License B #1070508 issued by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB), General Liability Insurance, and Workers' Compensation Insurance. All work is performed in compliance with applicable California building codes and local ordinances.
Payment Terms
Payment terms are specified in individual construction contracts. In accordance with California law (Business and Professions Code Section 7159), down payments shall not exceed $1,000 or 10% of the contract price, whichever is less, for home improvement contracts. Progress payments are based on work completed.
Warranty
We stand behind our workmanship. Specific warranty terms are outlined in individual construction contracts. Manufacturer warranties on materials and products are passed through to the homeowner. Warranty claims should be submitted in writing as soon as practically possible after discovery of a defect.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, our liability for any claim arising from our services shall be limited to the amount paid under the applicable construction contract. We are not liable for delays caused by weather, permit processing, material shortages, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be handled in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions in your construction contract, or as provided by the California Contractors State License Board. The laws of the State of California shall govern these Terms.
Termination & Cancellation
For home improvement contracts, California law (Civil Code Section 1689.5) provides homeowners with a three-day right to cancel. Cancellation and termination provisions for construction contracts are specified in individual agreements.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
